18th C. Italian Cinquedea Sword

FOR ALL ITEMS CLICK ON THUMBNAIL TO THE LEFT FOR MORE PICTURES A huge and very heavy either executioner sword or a very fine late 18thC-19th C Italian brass hilted cinqudea. It is much longer and large than other cinquedea examples. The blade is stamped with an armorers mark and in very good condition and very sharp on each side. The hilt is tight to the blade and also remains in nice condition with a pleasant patina. OAL 41", blade is 33 1/2", width of blade 4 1/2", and thickness at the medial ridge is 1/4"
