18th C. Ottoman Turkish Kilich with solid silver mounted scabbard and Persian Kara Khorasan Wootz blade
|( ID: is763 )|
About as nice a kilich as it gets. A massive late 18th C. Ottoman Turkish kilich mounted with an 18th C. Persian pala sword blade. This example is all en suite mounted with the original silver scabbard, very heavy, and matching silkver crossguard and mounts. It retains it's original hanging cord in fine condition. Blade is chiseled and features gold caligraphy on both sides. Blade has a few age pits but nothing distracting.
Completely original and in beautiful condition. Overall length 38".
