An interesting variant of the Balkan yataghan. This example has finely made straight walrus ears inset with coral stones. The blade is straight and mounted in a chiseled and embossed white metal scabbard. The blade is interesting because it a cutdown hollowground 18th C. rapier blade that was modified and mounted with a yataghan handle.
