19th C. Persian calligraphy scissors signed by maker

( ID: ia608 )

A fine example of 19th C. Persian calligraphic scissors used to cut the paper used for calligraphy.  Normally these would be held in a writing calligraphers set, or a Qalamdan, of which we have several fine examples available in the Islamic Arts section.
