Antique 19th C. Japanese Wakizashi, signed with royal Chrysanthemum mark

A fine example of a Japanese wakizashi dating to likely from the 19thC. The blade has seen better days and has several flaws, but displays a rich hamon and the tang is stamped with the Imperial Chrysanthemum marking along with a signature.

Overall length is 30", blade has a 20.5" cutting edge.
