Antique Indian 19th C. Barutdan Shell Powder Flask
|( ID: i417 )|
A huge example of an antique Indian shell powder flask. These are very uncommon examples, and this example mounted with a nautilus shell is oversized and in very fine condition, though the pearlesence of the shell has worn away in parts. The top part of the shell is made of mother of pearl and ebony disks. Very interesting and rare piece. Huge size at 9" X 8".
