    Description

    A fine and original late 18th C. Mughal matchlock musket rifle or toradarof long and slender form. This example has a beautiful blond wooden stock with a fine formed barrel with inlaid silver bands(now darkened). The stock is bone inlaid and has the original ramrod though at least one capucin is now missing. The side panels of the mechanism are made of mechanical Indian damascus steel and the barrel may be damascus though would need to be etched. Overall length is 72.
