Fine WWII Japanese Kaneuji gendai naval gunto katana sword

This is a fine Kaneuji signed blade with his personal kokuin seal. The blade is dated 1942. The blade is a handmade gendai and comes with the original scabbard and handle but is missing the rest of the furniture. The blade displays a beautiful hamon throughout and is in nice condition with some normal storage scratches, and one very tiny nick. Otherwise it is in very nice condition. Just awaiting a naval tsuba.
