Gorgeous Antique Japanese 17th C. Hirazukuri Wakizashi

A beautiful example of a 17th C. Japanese wakizashi with a hirazukuri style blade signed Sosu Ju Tsujuhiro. The blade has anotare temperededge. The scabbard and saya are both composed of pink tintedrayskin that is then gilded. The mounts arein the aikuchi style and very elegant. The habaki is silver and thekozuka is composed of shakudo nanako. One of the menuki is loose and comes off but Blade is 13 5/8 inches Overall: 23 inches
