Antique 19th C. Syrian Ottoman Turkish Shamshir Broad Sword with very large blade

A fine antique 19th C. OttomanSyrian or Arabic broadsword with original and fully matching scabbard. The blade is very wide and overlaid with koftgari script in very fine condition on both sides, fully covered in Arabic script of very interesting Kufic design. The scabbard is completely original and is mounted with silver overlaid fittings that are designed in the same style as the gold script on the blade completely matching. The blade is pattern welded damascus steel of good quality. The handle remains in good condition as well.
