    Moro Datu's kris.Maguindanao work, the elaborate junggayan hilt typically carried by a datu or noble, with kakatua-form pommel and silvered copper or brass mounts with okir engraving. The kakatua pommel is absolutely huge at over 7 long. Likely dating to the late 19th C.. Blade is of very fine construction with an inset damascus core and razor sharp edges. Overall length is 41. blade is 24. See the last photo comparing the size of the kris with a normal sized shamshir for a sense of scale.
