Important and Huge 19th C. Phillipine Moro Datu's Ceremonial Kris with Massive kakatua pommel

Moro Datu's kris.Maguindanao work, the elaborate junggayan hilt typically carried by a datu or noble, with kakatua-form pommel and silvered copper or brass mounts with okir engraving. The kakatua pommel is absolutely huge at over 7 long. Likely dating to the late 19th C.. Blade is of very fine construction with an inset damascus core and razor sharp edges.
