RARE DATED 1914 Issue Afghan Silver and Niello Wootz Mounted Officers Dagger Dirk

This example is likely an officers example and is mounted in silver with niello decoration. The piece is profusely decorated with islamic style arabesques and with inscriptions on the chape of the scabbard on both sides. The pommel clearly has the Afghanistan national crest in niello.
