Abd Al-Rahmān Ibn Muhammad Ustādh Al-Mişri

The Egyptian master swordsmith, who is supposed to have crafted one of the curved ceremonial swords in the collection, dated 889 hijra/1484 C.E. Some scholars believe that this sword was made for the Ottoman Sultan Bāyezid II (886-918 hijra/1481-1512 C.E.). This view is,however, not supported by any definitive evidence.74
