16th C. German or Swiss Landsknecht sword

A rare and very early type of European figting swo. This type of sword was used in the late 15th century through the 16th century. This example is completely original and in very nice condition. It has been cleaned at some point, but everything else is otherwise original to the sword including the old leather handle wrapping. It has very large S-curved quillons which are incised on either side, as well as the pommel which has similar kind of decoration.
