18th C. European German English Fighting Sword Naval Cutlass

Status: Sold · Region: Europe · Type: Swords

An early fighting sword. It has an interesting style guard reminiscent of 18th C. Austrian Pallash guards but is mounted with a straight broadsword style blade. The handle is leather over wood, much of which remains in good condition with the proper age feel to it. The blade has been cleaned at some point and is especially sharp.
