18th C. Mughal Jade handle Kirk Narduban Dagger Kard

A very fine 18th C. or earlier Indian mughal jade handle kard. This example retains all of its thick gold koftgar on the blade and the handle in nearly perfect condition. The blade is forged of very fine dark Kara Khorasan wootz in the krik narduban pattern with steps in the forging which can clearly be seen. Condition is very nice with the original or very old associated scabbard which fits very nicely. Overall length 11 1/2, Blade is 8 1/2
