A fine mid 18th C. Polish Hussars Sword in the Eastern style with a Tatar type fishskin covered handle with brass mounts. This examplehas a large and wide European made blade with a double edge for the last quarter. The handle is in fine condition with most of the original fishskin covering remaining.

A rare style of sword, with all the proper Polish characteristics such as the clover leaf crossguard finials and handle shape.
