A gorgeous and quite rare 19th C. Dagestani Caucasian kindjal with a beautiful 24kt, inlaid scabbard. The quality of the work is some of the best. The handle is walrus and also inlaid with gold wire, and silver mounted. The blade is very nice and clean with floral engraving. It comes with a matching gold zarnish inlaid belt. The belt is complete and in superb condition. The small cartridge box and the longest segment also have original gold zarnish inlaid metal inlays. VERY rare to find a complete matching set.
