# 19th C. Japanese Yari Spear

Status: Sold · Region: Japan · Type: Other

A nice early Japanese yari spear, which appears to be mounted in later mounts, probably 20th C. The spear itself is in nice condition with red inlays on each side of the spear. The tang displays rust and a hole for mounting which these mounts do not utilize.

An interesting spear with a very elegant design.

Overall length is 23", 5", 3/4" wide per side
