19th C. Persian Chiseled Qajar Kilich Pala Sword

A very fine and uncommon 19th C. Qajar Persian kilich. This example has a finely gold overlaid koftgari blade with a chiseled grip with gold koftgari designs in the floral style typical of the early 19th C. The blade is finely fullered and has a strong yelman false edge and is possibly watered steel wootz.

The condition is excellent and completely tight overall.
