# 19th C. Qianlong Ching Jian Broadsword

Status: Sold · Region: China, East Asia, Tibet · Type: Swords

A very nice and original 19th C. Qing Qianlong era jian sword. This classic example has a scrimshawed bone handle displaying both a male and female side. The blade is overlaid with silver koftgari running the entire length. The condition is very nice, and the only issue is that the pommel is very slightly loose, though this can be fixed easily. Overall length is 39, blade is 31.
