A very fine 19 C. Dagestan made silver kindjal кинжал. This example is of superb quality, much better than most silver mounted kindjals. Beautifully chiseled and repoussed, this example is richly decorated with niello as well. The blade is sectional type with multiple fullers and is stamped with the makers name “KOPBAH” or KURBAH or KORBAN. Quite rare in this level of quality.
