Caucasian Persian Blunderbuss Rifle

Status: Sold

A very uncommon southern Caucasian and Northern Persian blunderbuss rifle. This example is mounted with mother of pearl inlays in the butt in the style of some Azerbaijani pistols or rifle that can be seen in the national museum in Baku, and which are similar to two pieces sold by us, and which can be seen in the sold section. The barrel is an odd shape with the duckbill opening and is chiseled at the top. A fine addition to a Caucasian or Persian firearms collection. Overall length is 32.
