Fine 18th C. Mughal Indian Rare Tulwar Sword

A very elegant and uncommon three bar handle Mughal tulwar. This example has a nicely gold overlaid handle with an elegant extra guard for the hand, like a half basket hilt. The blade is fine early Indian damascus of a very nice pattern.

Overall length is 33" handle, blade is 28".
