Fine 18th C. Turkish Ottoman Yataghan with silver mounted scabbard

A fine late 18th C. Ottoman Turkish yataghan. The blade is inlaid with a gold cartouche and displays signs of the watered steel, but would need a cleaning to confirm. The handle and the scabbard are both silver mounted and remain in fine condition. The scabbard mounts are split but stay firmly attached to the scabbard.
