Fine 19th C. Chinese sword of heavy weight and likely lamellar construction. Original leather scabbard with red cloth covering. The blade is inlaid with a copper wheel, possibly a Buddhist symbol. Very sharp and well constructed sword. Remains razor sharp.

Overall length is 26, blade is 18, nearly 1/4 thick at the ricasso.
