Fine 19th C. Indian Hindu Pesh Kabz Dagger with wootz blade

A very good example with the original scabbard chiseled with images and gilded with silver overlay and koftgari. The blade is recurved type well known in the 19th C. and has a museum or collection number written on the blade. The handle is composed of jade or bowenite scales with mother of pearl and red lac, with gold koftgari inscriptions along the handle.
