A very interesting 19th C. Katar dagger mounted in the Anglo-Indian style. This piece has a beautifully made handle composed ofsegments with jade borders and inlaid with what appears to either be coral or garnet. Very elegant design. The broad blade is made of fine Indian crystalline wootz and has the burnished edge seen on the finest examples.
