Fine Napoleonic French Mamluke Sword

Status: Sold · Region: Europe · Type: Swords

A very nice example of an early 19th C. French mamluke sword. This example has very nicely aged scales with a deeply curved and well made blade with ethcing throughout the lower third on both sides. Fine condition and a good representative example. 36: from tip to pommel, but longer if straightened out due to the heavy curve, blade is 29, and 1 1/4 wide.
