Fine WWII Kyu Gunto Army Katana Sword Signed Kaneshige with hot stamp

Status: Sold · Region: Japan · Type: Swords

A good example of a WWII Japanese Army kai gunto. This example is signed Kaneshige and features his personal kokuin. This example has a fine blade displaying a beautiful wavy hamon, but has some dark spots over the years. This would easily clean away with careful cleaning, but this will be left to the buyer.

Overall length is 38", blade has 26" cutting edge.
