GIANT 19th C. Indian Rajput Mughal Tegha Sword with Damascus blade

A really massive Indian tegha sword with an old Indian khanda style hilt likely dating from the 18th-19th C. The blade is very finely forged from damascus steel visible throughout. The handle is beautifully made as well with the original green leather covering providing a soft grip. The hand guard is made of damascus steel as well. Very fine overall sword and very impressive in hand.

The overall size is 35", with a 26" blade, 2 1/8" wide at the ricasso, 2 1/4" wide at the yelman, and 1/4" thick at the ricasso.
