# Gorgeous 17th C. Mughal Wootz Katar with original grooming tools

This superb example of a late 17th C. Indian katar is particularly fine because it comes with five original mens grooming tools all in perfect condition. The blade is an excellent armor piercing wootz example indicative of late 17th C. Mughal work, see similar examples in the Khalili collection. The handle is overlaid in very fine gold leafwork also indicative of early Mughal work as well. Condition of the gold is nearly 99%.
