Gorgeous 18th C. Mughal Persian Jade Wootz Khanjar Dagger

A really unique mid 18th C. Mughal khanjar. This example was mounted with a very fine black wootz Persian khanjar blade with an interesting Mughal indian handle. It has jade handle scales with small jade balls inlaid along the bottom of the handle. The iron parts are all overlaid with gold koftgari. Pleasingly heavy.
