# Gorgeous Napoleonic Era British Line Officers Sword

Status: Sold · Region: Europe · Type: Other

Nice late 18th-early 19th C. British Napoleonic era British Officers sword. This example is mounted with a very finely made gilt brass and ebony wood handle and comes with the original scabbard. The blade has blue and gold 1/3 of the way with some losses and a few spots of pitting.

The scabbard has a small weak spot but is otherwise structurally sound. The crossguard is also a bit shaky. Overall the sword looks very nice and is of a rarely seen style.

36" overall. 30" blade.
