A beautiful 19th C. Dagestan kindjal with wonderful gold inlaid belt.This gorgeous example has a wonderfully gold inlaid handle and scabbard mounts with true zarneesh or true gold inlay work. The gold is then chiseled over with fine design. The belt is made of the same type of work with an inscription in Arabic on the obverse side of the metal piece that slides through the buckle. Blade is signed by the maker, and the scabbard has the two original and finely crafted side knives.
