Model 1810 Imperial Russian Naval Artillery sword hanger

Status: Sold · Type: Swords

A very uncommon Model 1810 Imperial Russian Naval Artillery sword. This is a very difficult sword to find in any condition and this example displays some age and wear that shows it was in use, likely at the tail end of the Napoleonic Wars and through the conflicts in the early to mid- 19th C. where the Imperial Russian navy participated, such as the Crimean War. This piece displays Russian armory stamps on the ricasso of the blade, which show that it was likely made in the early part of the 19th C. Overall length is 26, blade is 20.
