# Outstanding 19th C. European Magnate Presentation Hunting Sword with damascus blade

A truly beautiful sword. This example is mounted in hilded brass, gilded silver, and mounted with scores of small rubies, emeralds and two large star sapphires and a moonstone. The grip is carved bloodstone with a jade pommel in the form of a fish.

The blade is likely German made of fine maiden hair damascus with blue and gilded decoration at the base.
