A truly exemplary 19th C. Chinese niuweidao. This is one of the finest examples of these types of sword, I've seen on the market and features an extremely interesting multi-fullered blade with a chiseled and gilded brass tunkou formed in the shape of a dragon.

A wonderful sword. Very large length and very finely crafted blade with an excellent balance in hand.

Overall length is 40, blade is 32, 3/8 thick at the ricasso.
