Status: Sold · Region: Europe · Type: Other

A great and very finely made early 17th C. English pappenheimer rapier. This example is very well made, with all original parts with no fiddling. The blade is marked with the Solingen wolf on each side, and also with the heavy and deep set stamp of Joahnnes Wundes, who suppled many blades to England in the early 17th C.
