Super 19th C. Indian Sind Flintlock Rifle very fine Damascus barrel Ex. Jaipur Armory

Status: Sold · Region: India

A very fine rosewood stocked Indian Sind Flintlock rifle with an English lock, likely from the Mir Talpur family of Sind. This example was originally purchased from the Maharajah of Jaipur in the 1960s by a German collector and is in very fine condition. The stock is silver mounted and the barrel displays a deep and fine quality twist damascus with gold koftgari highlights.

Beautiful quality work overall.
