Wonderful Wootz 18th C. Mughal Tulwar Kirk Narduban Wootz blade

A gorgeous 18th C. Mughal tulwar of Lahori style. The handle is richly overlaid gilt silver, in a very fine and uncommon shape. The blade is very finely made of persian damascus with a beautifully chiselled cartouche at the forte. It has the original scabbard, which is slightly loose from age. Overall length is 34, blade is 29 1/2.
