WWII Japanese Katsumasa Signed Naval Katana Sword

A good example of a WWII era Japanese naval katana. This example has a very fine blade which displays much of the original hamon which is a very elegant undulating type. The blade does need a cleaning to bring out the hamon which would look very nice. The blade is also signed Kojima Katsumasa a swordsmith who worked at the Seki Arsenal. The scabbard is original but is missing what would have been the leather covering on the outside.
