A wonderful 18th C. Ottoman Turkish miquelet rifle of gorgeous form, mounted in silver with a fine gold inlaid damascus barrel. The stock is silver mounted and stamped with the smiths maker cartouche at the butt of the rifle. The barrel is twisted steel damascus of clear pattern and form visible throughout. The gold inlay work remains in nearly perfect condition with almost no losses. The lock is finely mounted and crafted with coral fixtures of pleasing design.
