A lovely 18C. Indian kard with example is mounted with a finely wrought handle with gold koftgari designs throughout, in completely original condition with the original silver mounted scabbard, with a small flame like design at the tip of the scabbard, paralleling the koftgari flames on the handle. The blade is beautifully made with a very finely visible kirk narduban pattern all throughout. Quite rare to find a piece of this quality with this kind of blade, especially on a piece of Ottoman Turkish work.
