A fine example of an Model 1769Austrian Napoleonic period officers broadsword. These are very uncommon swords and this examples remains in excellent condition with much of the original gilding remaining. The blade retains the double-headed eagle etching and the maker name on the spine Pottenstern is correct for this model.
A rare fighting sword from the period of the Napoleonic Wars.
