A very rare mid 19th C. Russian made, Zlatoust or Tula Armory, kindjal кинжал. This classic example is the largest known size with fine checkered scales and the original scabbard and metal fitting which retain their Zlatoust style iron etching. A very rare kindjal dagger. 20 overall, blade is 13 .
